Do U PLAY Sports?! Use DUPLAYS.com to to find recreational sports and activities in the UAE. Through DUPLAYS.com, register and sign up for leagues online and come out to play in organized, social events.

There are a number of sports we offer but even if there’s nothing out there currently, please register as a member (click on Register in the top right corner) to get further updates on new offerings. We will have single-day tournaments and events along with a number of sport/activity pages where people can post to find out more information about their passion. With events such as dance, martial arts, and other team sports on the horizon, register FOR FREE right now and get future updates.

1. Register as a member (it’s Free!). Simply fill in the necessary information and provide additional info so we can target an activity to your sport/passion where you live.
2. Sign up for a sports league as a team or as an individual. Fees vary based on sport and length of event. ie. certain sports require referees and leagues may vary from 6-10 wks depending on season.
3. Play.

Some additional information:

• If you sign up as an individual we group you with other individuals or with teams that are looking for players.
• Payment is for a single league/tournament. You must sign up again for new seasons.
• HOW DO I PAY? Right now, we offer PayPal online or offline at the fields. During the next month, we will offer more online options along with payments at retail outlets.
• You can play multiple sports but each is treated individually.
• Posting is free. ie. If you are looking for a squash partner, a rock climbing group, or any other activity, post on that activity page and have people get in touch with you directly. We are trying to encourage small organizations to use our site to promote sport and activity to improve health in the UAE.

Something new. What’s this blue “f Connect” button in the top right user box area?!

Once you log in to your Duplays.com account, you can now use Facebook Connect to link accounts.

What will happen?

• The big blue “f Connect” button will be replaced by “You are connected to facebook”
• We’ll  put a short one-line post on your Facebook wall telling your friends that you have “registered to play sports in the UAE on DUPLAYS.com”.
• Your Facebook profile photo will appear in the League Members and Message Box areas for each of your leagues.
• When you join a league, we’ll put another one-line post on your wall telling your friends about the league you’ve just joined.



• That’s it! We hope adding Facebook Connect makes it easier for you and your friends to discover our new and exciting sport leagues. Dodgeball, anyone?!

Note: For now you’ll need to make sure it says “connected to facebook” in black, not the blue “Connect” button, when joining a league to have it posted  to your wall.  This is an early release and we’ll be improving the experience based on your feedback. So please,  leave us a comment and some feedback.

Update: FIXED. We’re back online after taking the site offline for 20min to fix some problems. We’ve fixed the page loading errors and everyone should now receive the mailers.

FIXED –  1. Some (new) users were not being sent emails from the league administrator.

FIXED – 2. Random pages were not loading correctly and redirecting to the homepage. 

Suggestion: Get in the habit of checking your league’s page for the latest updates and announcements for EACH league that you are a member of.  League pages carry the most up to date information about your leagues’ schedules and announcements.

Things have changed at Duplays.com. From starting as a Facebook group in 2007 we enter 2009 with a brand new website and lots of exciting things to come.

We’ve re-designed our website with you, the user, in mind. Simpler, easier to navigate, less clicking and hunting.

The HOME page now displays the latest leagues (left column) and a tag cloud (right column) of every sport you can find on Duplays.com. These are all links that will take you directly to that sport or league page. We don’t yet offer leagues for everything, like archery and falconry. But we will provide you with a space to communicate and connect with others who share your interest.

The TOP NAVIGATION BAR is on every page and will let you quickly goto the pages for the most popular sports, or to the home page tag cloud with every sport listed.

Each SPORT page now has the most relevant information for you in one location: leagues, events, local club information, message board, and more!
